Jim is a Wood & Biomass Utilization Specialist with Region 5 of the U.S. Forest Service, covering California and Hawaii. He has previously worked as a field forester and silviculturist. He earned a master's in forestry from Northern Arizona University with a focus on forest operations and biomass utilization. Prior to his forestry experience, Jim worked a 15-year career in corporate finance for several national retailers.
